Apps and courses for kitchens and bars. Made by people who have worked in them.

Elearnment is the company behind Good Food Hygiene, live in kitchens today, and Good Bar Management, in development. Ten CPD-standard courses on a learning system we built ourselves. Free signs and taster courses for anyone who wants them.

Good Food Hygiene is live in kitchens today. Good Bar Management is in development for licensed premises. Same account, same inspector portal, same rule that nothing is deleted. Tap a pill to change the screen, then tap the screen: log a fridge, refuse a sale, walk the cellar round.

What leaves the phone.

On the day, twelve record types become one QR code. The officer scans it on their own phone and gets every record, read-only, as at that minute. Any record also prints as an A4 PDF with your logo on it. Nothing is ever deleted; a correction sits beside the original, with who, why and when.

One QR code. Every record, read-only, on the officer’s own phone.

One of the twelve, as it prints: a week of fridge temperatures, the reading that was out of range, what was done about it, who signed.

Courses written by people who have worked the line.

Level 2 Food Safety, Level 3 for supervisors, HACCP, allergens, health and safety, first aid, manual handling, COSHH, and more. Every one written in plain language on a learning system we built ourselves, so a lesson works the way a kitchen does. Try three questions from Level 2 here. Nothing is recorded.

  • Certificates anyone can checkA reference and a QR code on every certificate open a public verify page. An employer or an officer sees the issuing record in seconds.
  • Team accountsA business buys seats and assigns them. Each member of staff gets their own login and a certificate in their own name; the manager sees who has finished.
  • A refresher before it lapsesThree years is the norm. We tell you before a certificate runs out, not after.

Written to CPD standards and being prepared for CPD assessment. We will not call them accredited until that is granted.

Every course: fourteen languages, ten random questions after each lesson, a certificate with a reference and QR code, twelve months’ access, and a free four‑lesson taster first.Every course in detail

Built by a chef with thirty years in Manchester kitchens and bars.

Pot wash at fourteen. Then the line, the pass, the bar, the cellar, the management, and the phone calls from managers who wanted their kitchen sorted before an inspection. Every check in the app is one she has done at the end of a double shift. Every course is one she has sat.

Family-run. Two people you can reach, not a call centre. Whichever brand you contract with, you contract with one checkable company: Elearnment Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

The whole story, and who she is
  • Fourteen languages, one record. The team reads the app and the courses in its own language. What was typed stays as typed, so the officer reads what was written.
  • Nothing is deleted.A correction sits beside the original with who, why and when. A record is evidence, and we treat it that way.
  • We never over-claim.If something is in development we say so, in a status row, not a countdown.

Free where it should be.

Twenty-three A4 signs, drawn to the Food Standards Agency’s numbers, ready to print. Five taster courses with real questions. A blog that answers the question you had at 9pm. None of it costs anything and none of it asks for an email.

  • How to wash your hands, an A4 sign
  • Chopping board and knife colours, an A4 sign
  • The 14 allergens, an A4 sign
  • Food safety temperatures, an A4 sign
  • Six steps of cleaning and disinfection, an A4 sign
  • Temperature log sheet, an A4 sign

The signs

Handwashing, the fourteen allergens, board colours, temperatures, station rules, record sheets. All twenty-three.

The taster courses

Four lessons and fifteen real questions from each of five courses. No certificate, no card, no catch. Try one.

The blog

Plain answers to the questions kitchens actually ask: what an officer looks at first, what to do when a fridge fails on a Saturday. Read.

Whichever room you run, the paperwork should be the by‑product of doing the job.
