What we collect and why

The enquiry form. Company, your name, work email, number of sites, how records are kept, and anything you add. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a walkthrough. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract. Kept for 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted.

The Good Bar Management waitlist. Email, optionally your venue, and your answer to one question. We use it to tell you when there is something to try, and the answers to decide what to build. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw by replying to any email. Kept until launch plus 6 months, or until you ask.

The readiness check. Five multiple-choice answers about how your records are kept, and your email if you ask for a copy. We use the answers to write the summary you see on screen; where an email is given and bot protection is switched on, we send you that summary once. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request. The answers are stored with the summary and kept for 12 months, then deleted.

Server logs. Our host records the IP address, page and time of each request for security and to keep the site running. Lawful basis: legitimate interest. Kept for 30 days.

Where it goes

Form submissions are stored on the site’s own server in the UK and emailed to us. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with advertisers. Our processors are our web host and our email provider, each under a contract that binds them to this policy’s standards.

Fonts. Every page loads our typeface from Adobe Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Adobe and Adobe receives your IP address and the page you are on. We do not control that request beyond choosing to use the service. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in the site being legible as designed. If you would rather it did not happen, blocking use.typekit.net leaves the site working in a fallback typeface.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to our use of it, or ask for a copy in a portable form. Use the enquiry form and put “privacy” in the message. A postal address will be published here once the company’s registered office is confirmed. We reply within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

When this page changes, the “last reviewed” row above changes with it. We do not move the goalposts quietly.
